Testing  and Calibration  – ISO/IEC 17025

ISO/IEC 17025:2015 is the Laboratory Management System that specifies the general requirements for the competence to carry out tests and/or calibrations.

ISO/IEC 17025:2015 – General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories, is used to develop and implement laboratory management systems. The ISO/IEC 17025 standard is a global standard, for the technical competence of calibration and testing laboratories. This is in addition to establishing quality system, documentation and personnel requirements.

The ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory Management System requires laboratories to:

v  analyze the uncertainty of each measurement

v  incorporate the uncertainty into the test procedure and/or test limits

v  provide the uncertainties with the calibration certificate and results

Laboratory Accreditation

Accreditation is an objective way to assure your customers that you have demonstrated technical competence to provide reliable and accurate test or calibration results. Accreditation is objective because an independent, third party Certification body. This independent evaluation is important to the customer, because it is an unbiased guarantee that your laboratory is performing at its highest level.
